• Hi 123host,

I can’t retrieve any more the signatures in the backend, since the Update to version 1.18.3.

On the signitures site (wp-admin/admin.php?page=dk_speakout_signatures&action=petition&pid=…) there appeares only the message ”
The site has technical difficulties. Please check the website administrator’s e-mail inbox for further instructions.”, but I didn’t receive any mail.

In my error logs there is this message:

Wed Nov 20 11:35:43 2019] [warn] [client 178.4.31.50] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant displays_custom_message – assumed ‘displays_custom_message’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/wp_2x2mmi/…/wp-content/plugins/speakout/includes/ajax.php on line 76, referer: https://….

What can we do to solve that issue?

    Thanks

    Andy

This is the first report I have had of signatures not displaying. The notification is only a warning that (in theory) shouldn’t affect signature display.

I am travelling until the weekend. I’ll check it out then.

    Apologies for the delay.

It must have to do something with the error on line 76 in /home/wp_2x2mmi/…/wp-content/plugins/speakout/includes/ajax.php I think …

Can you have a look at the “display custom message” box on the right when editing a petition.

If it is checked, uncheck it. If it is unchecked, check it. Let me know if that helps.

    Thanks.

Ok, I have tried this, checked the unchecked “display custom message” box on the right of a certain petition, unfortunately without any effect on the issue.

I think it don’t have to do anything with a particular petition, because if I click on “signatures in the main menue on the left, there isn’t shown anything neither but the message, that there would be technical problems with the site.

I have also tried to change the main settings at “view in the admin area”, in order that there are only 10 rows displayed instead of 20 and 50, but unfortunately also in vain …
