Signature counts and goal bar don’t increment

    I had reason to export and re-import my signatures into the speakout_signatures table.

    The import went fine.
    They all show up with progress on the wp-admin backend.

    However, now the Signature Count on the front end won’t increment, and the progress/goal bar won’t move.

    Can’t somebody help me with support on how to fix this? It’s not a theme issue, seems to be something from the import didn’t increment that counter.

    Unfortunately, I am travelling for the next couple of weeks and unable to update code.

    The first thing you should check is whether the actual petition id matches the id used in the signature shortcode.

    You will see that in the sample shortcodes on the dashboard - SpeakOut! - petitions page.

    Thanks for the quick reply. No worries on the travel, it doesn’t have to get fixed quickly. Would just like to figure it out eventually.

    So the petition ID does match the shortcode ID.
    Also this is the petition ID that all the signatures had during import.

    On the same page you directed me to: dashboard – SpeakOut! – petitions, I can clearly see 6,917 signatures, and the progress bar next to it works.
    Just not on the front end.

    I also tried making a post with the shortcode [signaturecount id=”1″] and it displayed a value of 0

    I am back and going to work on this as soon as my covid brain clears a bit.

    The workaround may be to deactivate the plugin and reactivate it again. Several people have said this works for missing signatures. So far I can’t see why it would work when an upgrade didn’t

    Welcome back.
    No go on the temporary disable/re-enable.
    Still no progress bar with over 7k entries in the database.
