    Hello
I love the flexibility and ease of settting up this plugin to send email updates to users, but I am a bit confused how users can register their email?
Is there a widget for user email registration I can use as if the plugin had this, it would be perfect?

    Thanks

    Hi @chickster25,
    Thanks for your message.

BNFW sends email notifications to existing users of WordPress website.
Do you allow user registration currently on your site?
It’s possible that you’re looking for a subscription plugin instead but let me know the answer to the above and I might be able to help.

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hello
I dont offer a registration but would like users to subscribe for email updates when the site is updated.

I have tried other subscription plugins but yours offers the best range of email updates for certain updates and works especially well with Sportspress plugin as I can email users for unique things such as new events, League table updates, new player announcements and Event results which I am unable to do with other plugins.

    Hi @chickster25,
    Ok, understood.

Unfortunately, BNFW will only work with users who have a registered for an account on your website.
The only thing I can suggest is you could make this a selling point and offer site updates for the things that you mention to registered users only. This would give an incentive for people to register and you can set-up the notifications to target a specific user role.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    Jack
