Sign up welcome email form only works when I’m logged in – help?

Sign up welcome email form only works when I’m logged in, but even when I’m logged in, the final email doesn’t get to me.
“An error has happened when trying to complete this request”
Strange, it worked a few months back, can anyone help?

Oh, and I’ve tried disabling ModSecurity, same error
Edit: I found the issue. I was getting an error when calling the endpoint /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
Found the issue was in my Cloudflare configuration.
Now I’ve disabled the rule that denied the access there and it’s working fine
