Sign up plugin not working; Mailchimp

I deleted the Jetpack sign up plugin but people are still signing up on the stock sign up list. I don’t want this because I put the Mailchimp sign up on my site. So I am getting people signing up on the old system but their names are not on the Mailchimp list. What am I doing wrong? I did get one signup thru Mailchimp so I know it works.

Also, is @eng.pezmail.biz a spamming source? I am wondering if the signups under the old system are actually spamming sign ups. Yet they did not leave any spam comments.
