I have set up the form for the database. After filling and submitting all I get is the page trying to finish the task, but it just keeps loading. Then I get this error:

    Inactivity Timeout

Description: Too much time has passed without sending any data for document.

It then seems to slow down my entire site as if I try to do anything on any page, I get the endless loading which then gives me this further error message:

    Service Unavailable

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

It then takes about 10-15 minutes before i can access the dashboard again and when I do, trying to load a page is incredibly slow.

Interestingly enough, sometimes the form works and adds the data to the database and sometimes it doesn’t.

This is an issue with your server, I’d suggest you submit a support ticket to your web host with a full description of the issue.

I’m having a very similar issue. If I disable the plugin the sites performance returns to normal.

I’m using multisite BTW and it has an impact on only the one site I am testing it on

Ask your web host take a look at it, usually an issue like this is the database server getting bogged down..

In my case I am hosting it one local server. It’s only me accessing it. It is idle most of the time.

I’m happy it’s probably something I have configured though.

However I will open my own ticket once I have stopped working out how to use thee plugin

    Thanks

Thanks everyone, I found out what was causing the problem. I put the shortcode in a column using the content editor of the theme. I am assuming after the form was submitted, it couldn’t find the thank you page with the thank you shortcode so it caused the system to keep trying to find it.

Once I switched back to classic editor and inserted the shortcode in the page, everything works fine and my site is back to its old speedy self.
