    Hi everyone,

I’m trying to set up a sign up for in the Home of Neve. I entered the Access Key and the List ID but when I try to enter a new email address I get the error: “Action Failed”.

Is there any other step I should’ve taken?

Thank you very much for your help,

    Cecilia Mariano

  • Hi @ceciliamariano,

What service are you using (Mailchimp or Sendinblue)?
Do you have the latest version of the plugin Orbit Fox?

    Thank you

    Hi @raducan,

I use MailChimp and I do have Orbit Fox. I also installed WPForms.

Do you know if the sign up forms are available just in the paid versions?

    Thank you,
    Cecilia

Orbit Fox doesn’t have a paid version, it’s always been free ??
Mailchimp on the other hand seems to require the paid version for easy integration with Mailchimp.

Let’s see if we can get to the bottom of this.
For List ID did you input the “Audience ID” from your Mailchimp account? When I was trying out the integration that was usually my biggest issue as I didn’t know that Mailchimp uses the word “Audience” instead of “List”.

Yes, I added the API Key and the Audience/List ID directly in the front page using Elementor. These are the only required fields in the page. Should I insert them somewhere else?

I remember that for the pop ups sign up forms I had before we needed to insert the ID numbers in a separate set up page, but I couldn’t find it for Orbit Fox.

You don’t need to add the keys anywhere else, it works if you insert them directly in the front page.
    Can you share your website?

    Hi @raducan,

Not sure what I did but it’s working now! Thanks a lot for your help ??

Before I close this ticket, is there a way we can customize the message displayed in the form after they register their email successfully? Now it is “Welcome to our newsletter”.

    Kind regards,
    Cecilia

Glad to hear that ??, I think most likely the Orbit Fox plugin updated to the latest version which contained some fixes for the newsletter.

Regarding the message displayed you’d need custom coding to change it so it’s best to reach out to a developer, or maybe if you open a ticket in Orbit Fox somebody might be able to help.
