Sign up form: “An error has happened while performing a request”

    I am getting the “An error has happened while performing a request” message when attempting to sign up using a Mailpoet form.

    This only happens when not logged in to WordPress

    I am made sure that I am using jquery 3.6.0

    I tried disabling all other plugins and using 2021 theme to rule out any conflicts.

    I am using latest versions of WordPress (5.8.1) and Mailpoet (3.71.2)

    I raised this problem a few weeks ago and it appeared to be fixed by Mailpoet 3.71.1 but has come back.

    I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing this error. We haven’t received reports about this error lately.

    Can you please confirm that you disabled all plugins except MailPoet and switched to the 2021 theme at the same time?

    Also, have you tried to roll back to the MailPoet version 3.71.1? Does it fix it?

    Yes I tested with all plugins disabled and 2021 theme at the same time. I’ve just tested again to make sure.

    I have rolled back to 3.71.1 but still get the error.

    I only get the problem when not logged in to WordPress.
