• i have a question because i don’t understand where mailpoet sends the documents from to the client after the newsletter subscribe . If I go to mailpoet setting – signup confirmation and activate Enable visual subscription confirmation emails, then I can create a template in editor. But if I go to Mailpoet – Automation and set a new automation, then there is also a possibility to create a template under edit content.

i hope you can send me a clarification and also tell me where i can find these two templates that are created there

    thank you

    regards

    Hello there @hobyfischer ,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Let’s address your first concern: the signup confirmation email. This is a message sent to every individual who subscribes to your email list to confirm their email address, ensuring you maintain a list of engaged and verified subscribers. You can customize the confirmation email – including its subject and content – using the standard MailPoet visual email editor, or a simplified text editor that allows for customization with shortcodes. To learn how to customize this email, please visit: Customize the Confirmation Email Subject and Content.

Regarding the template created in automation, this is different from the signup confirmation email. For example, when you set up a new automation and use the “someone subscribes” trigger, the following step — typically an email that you can edit — is often designed as a welcome email. This welcome email is what subscribers will receive after confirming their subscription. It serves as an initial greeting and introduction to your content, separate from the signup confirmation.

I hope this helps explain things better.
