Hello – When accessing the plugin in WordPress, I’m having issues signing into Hubspot within the plugin.

When going into the plugin, I see “Sign in to use plugin tools”
    Account Name: [removed info]
    Domain: [removed info]
    Account Id: [removed info]

I click the orange “Sign in” button, put my username & password to sign in, plugin page will load for a second so I see a little bit of what it looks like to be signed in and then kick me out and take me back to the same screen as before (“Sign in to use plugin tools”).

I’m an admin on our WordPress site & superadmin in Hubspot so I should have the proper credentials.

Do you know what could be causing this issue? I’m on Version 9.0.35 of the plugin and using Firefox 104.0.2 on Windows 10.

We had a user who potentially used their credentials (WP & HubSpot) to login into it but they have been removed from both systems. Could that potentially affect it? Thanks!

  • Hi @vd191212
Based on your message it looks like this is happening due to “Total Cookie Protection” in Firefox. This is known issue wherein if “Total Cookie Protection” is enabled, signin starts failing.
You can disable this cookie protection and then try to login into the plugin again.
Checkout this screenshot of how to disable this protection. You would need to turn off the Enhanced Tracking Protection for this site.

If this doesn’t work, then I would suggest you to use Chrome browser with the plugin.

Let me know if this helps.
    Thanks
