• sidebars were showing fine untill they all disappeared recently on all sites.

Now only empty space is shown in the left column where the sidebar used to be.

please advise what can be done to solve this.
I tried to reinstall the plugin but it does not help.
Could it be connected to upgrading to WP version 4.3?

Yes, I experimented on several sites and confirm that Multiple Sidebars has compatibility problems with WP 4.3.
Before upgrading it works fine on all sites, after upgrading to WP 4.3 it menu bar disappears.

    o/

Any chance you are still active and will support the 4.3 upgrade. Without the support Multiple Sidebars will cease to exist and function.

Unfortunately, the 100+ pages uses this plugin for the side menus. We can not simple use another one otherwise all of our careful selections will be lost.

    Cfourie,
Try to roll back to previous version of WP.
Alternatively, you can install Simple Page Sidebar as a replacement to Multiple Sidebars. It will take some time to reassign all pages to the new sidebars, but when sidebars are assigned, in the Widgets section you can easily drag and drop menu widgets from Multiple Sidebars to Simple Page Sidebars. Depending on the number of menus and pages, this may take several hours but will ensure that your site can work with WP 4.3

    Thanks for that ip!
We rolled back to 4.22 for the time being. Way too many pages to modify. Lets hope he gets this fixed. We may employee a developer to fix it down the road if not. Will find you if that is the route we choose!

This is the same problem for me, I’m using this plugin on 25-30 sites and I did’t notice until InfiniteWP had updated them all.

I downgraded them all but it took for what seemed like forever.

Is this plugin going to be updated or do I have to look for an alternative solution? i.e. registering sidebars the “proper” way and creating multiple templates… Seems like a massive faf.
