    Hi @dallass,

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

    You can display a custom sidebar for all the posts that belong to a certain category as described below.

    In the Widgets screen select the option “Allow this sidebar to be replaced” for any default sidebar.
    Create a new custom sidebar and click on the link “Sidebar Location” displayed in it.
    In the opened pop up window select the appropriate category in the option “For all Single Entries matching selected criteria” where you want to display the custom sidebar.

    It was an issue with the theme. Seems that it does not support custom sidebar. I do not understand how, but they say it is like this.

    Could you please tell me what was the issue and with which theme so that i can help you to resolve the issue if you want to use that theme?

    Actually I did not take the time to understand what is the problem. I bought another theme. I will not use a theme that needs special things.
