Sidebar wrongly called

  • I get a php error message that register_sidebar is wrongly called. The is for sidebar 1 is missing in the argument matrix. ANd I should set the id manuallt to sidebar-1.

    I don’t understand where I should to this, int the wpadmin, or in the datasbe or in the wp-code?

    My first thought is that this is some sort of theme issue.

    You might rename the current theme directory by adding 1234 to that theme’s directory name which will force WordPress to use a default theme (I like Twenty Thirteen and Twenty Seventeen). This should get you back into the site where you can then restore an earlier backup, fix things or reinstall the theme as needed.
