• I’m having some big issues with widgets not being able to save. I’m running 2.9.2 on my blog. I was attempting to create a multiple dynamic sidebar setup with my template. I rolled back all the sidebar changes once I ran into this issue. Not sure if the items might have been related, but I thought I’d mention it.

Every time I try to create a new widget, or save changes to an old widget the save button had the rotating circle graphic that never goes away.

I’ve tried deactivating plugins, removing the plugin folder, checking in different browsers on Mac and PC as mentioned in other threads on the subject and none of it works. I tried rebuilding the site with my template and db on a test server and again no luck.

Anyone have any bright ideas as to what might be going on?

    Morning bump

one thing you didn’t mention is if you tried with default theme. (if you edited the default theme, upload a fresh copy)

Yes, I did try the default theme, no luck there either.

Still have no idea what was causing this issue. Rebuilt my blog today and it seems to be working now. So no actual resolution to my problem.

This may be a reach, but when I have that problem, it’s when I have the widgets set for drag and drop, etc. Sometimes, the solution has been to click on screen options in the top right corner, click on Enable accessibility mode in the left top corner and try it that way. Unless you are already in that mode….

    Nope, Enable accessibility doesn’t work.

This issue is a royal PITA!

As a matter of fact, nothing has changed but all my widgets now don’t show or work!

It’s time to dump the software!

zero adds, zero twitter feeds nothing. What in the world happened to WordPress?
