Sidebar Widgets not appearing

  • Hi – I’ve installed the plugin and the 6 widgets are displaying in the widget area though when I go to customise and then widgets on a page, only 2 are showing: LD Course: Content: Start and LD Course: Content: End are – none of the sidebars are visible. Any advice on why this might be? Thanks!

    Hi – When you access widget areas in the Customizer (by going to Appearance > Customize), WordPress only shows the widget areas that are available on the current page you are viewing in the Customizer.

    You need to navigate to a different page to see the additional widgets that are available. So I’m guessing you were viewing a course page when you only saw the two course widgets.

    If you navigate to a lesson or topic page, you should then see the widget areas within focus mode.

    Thanks for your advice. I have gone into a lesson page as suggested and when I go to Customise/Widgets – it states the following: ‘Your theme has 25 widget areas, but this particular page does not display them. You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.’ Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong? Thank you.
