I see a lot of old postings on this but I couldn’t find an answer. I’m using 3.0.1 and have a template that I’ve customized but now I can’t remove widgets from the side bar…even if I deactivated all the widgets and remove the widgets plugin folder. I can add new ones that will take the place of the old ones…but if I remove the new ones, there are still three left that can’t be removed…

    Thanks in advance

Also…I’ve installed a new “generic” template from the WordPress site, added some new plugins to “reset” widget cache and “restore” widgets…

    Still the same problem.

Is there an WP SQL table that controls this? I looked at the SQL database with PHPMYADMIN and couldn’t find anything.
