    @edwinhamers,

    I’m not sure what you’re looking for here. You’re setting the site to full width, which means you don’t want any sidebars, but you want to use widgets that are only meant to be used in the sidebar.

    You’ve also referenced a site here – https://www.yogisha.nl/en/yoga-mats/, that literally has a sidebar within which the said widgets are displayed.

    You also mention wanting to do this because it looks better on mobiles even though mobiles render sites in a completely different way.

    As things stand, you can either have a sidebar and use widget or not have a sidebar and not use widgets. The other alternative is to create a custom sidebar or footer for your needs and hook it wherever you’d like. Here’s a tutorial that can help with that – https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/free-custom-sidebars-plugin/

    Sorry for the confusion.

    I am just stating that with Storefront + powerpack it is possible to set everything to ‘full width’ and at that time you cannot use sidebar widgets anymore. Very logical since there is no sidebar.

    But if i still want to use Woocoomerce filter widgets there is no widget area to do so (specially on mobile devices). That is what i wanted to show with my link example. This has a special widget area ABOVE a category (yes, i know it has a sidebar. please ignore that).

    I have to check options to create a new widget area above product archives. The point is that the Storefront Bundle offers a plugin called “Extra Footer widget area”. I was hoping that Woo could make a “Extra Archive widget area” in their bundle

    @edwinhamers,

    Thanks for the clarification and input.

    As this is not a support request and you have already submitted your feature request to the ideas board, I’m going to mark this as resolved. You may want to make what your idea clearer on the board. If it becomes popular, the development team will review it and consider where to go from there.
