Sidebar Widgets

    • I would like to change the content under “Recent Posts” and “Archives” for any posts in the “press” category i.e. FILADELFIA TIENE ROSTRO DE MUJER LATINA. I want only “press” category items to show up under “Recent Posts” and “Archives” on the sidebar.
    • I want to re-title “Recent Posts” to “Recent Press Articles” only on post assigned to the press category.

    I would like to accomplish these two items if possible to do this with a function or in CSS.

    If you use a commercial themeand need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

    I’ve already addressed this issue with those channels. They referred me here. These widgets are part of the WordPress core files, and not controlled by the theme.

    It feels like my question is being avoided. Please refer to my initial post. That is exactly what I’m asking. I’m not asking what alternative widget can be used. I am asking for assistance with currently implemented widgets that are part of the WordPress core files.

    You would need to modify the core files, which I do not recommend for a very long list of reasons. That’s why I suggested an alternative.
