Sidebar Widget that displays images linking to an album

Hello, I was wondering if there was a plugin out there that allows me to connect sidebar thumbnail image galleries to an album listing page.

i.e. when clicking on a particular image, instead of being directed to the gallery, like nextgen gallery sidebar widget does, I would be directed to an album listing comprising that image.

Not sure if what I am asking is clear enough
