If I put this as the first widget in the sidebar, the page will jump down (past the menu and header) so the top of the widget is at the top of the screen.

If I move it down in the sidebar so another widget is on top, the jumping doesn’t happen.

It happened with both your widget and the shortcode.

    Hi there @chiefllama,

I believe you are referring to adding a MailPoet subscription form to the sidebar widget area of your site — please let me know if you meant something different.

I’ve added a MailPoet form as the first widget in my sidebar, however I’m not seeing the same thing you describe. The page loads as expected, and does not jump down so the widget is at the top of the screen.

It’s possible there’s some code in your theme that is interacting with the load of the form. If you temporarily switch to a default theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty, do you still see the same behavior?

Please let me know how that goes, or if you have any questions!

If you are still having issues on a default theme, please let us know and send over the URL to a page on your site so we can take a look.

I actually ended up taking it off because Ezoic Leap was giving severe speed impact warnings, but it was an out of the box GeneratePress site library theme.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for confirming that.

In that case, I’ll close this thread for now, but if you have any other questions please feel free to open a new thread.
