• Since the 3.3.1 upgrade my sidebar widget now shows a huge block of empty spece beneath the first Event – whatever number of events I choose in the settings makes no difference – the remaining Events all display normally, and the other sidebar widgets also display normally but are displaced far down the page. It means that any user would have to scroll down to get further events & widgets – IF they realise that there is further content. Any clues? It worked with 3.3!

  • Can you provide a URL where we can see the problem?

Does this only happen with a specific theme (have you tried switching to a default, unmodified theme and turning off all other plugins)?

Hi Barry, thanks for the response. I have re-enabled the widget so that you can see the problem, the URL is:
    https://www.henfieldjoggers.co.uk/

I have not tried to change any of the other settings to be honest, but its really not a complex site, I use only a handful of basic tools, and the site is a club/association so I’m not a developer as such. I suspect that the answer is in the default Widget settings but I’m not literate enough to work it out for myself. Usually I can google the problem and copy someone elses solution but not this time!

    The help is appreciated

For the record I did try switching all the PlugIns off etc but it made no difference so I’m still stuck and grateful for any help

Right, I’m puzzled that you would see this even with a default theme – was it Twenty Twelve you switched to?

No Barry, my installed theme has never changed from when the site was created in Jan 2013, its zeeSynergie
    ???

    OK.

So I suspect this is really an integration issue with your theme (unless you also experience it with a default theme like Twenty Twelve) and so most likely you’ll need to add some extra CSS rules to workaround the styles and layout introduced by your theme.

While we can’t really offer support for integration with third party themes and plugins here on the free support forum, hopefully the following resources (the Themer’s Guide in particular details adding extra CSS) will be helpful:

    Hope that helps!
