• URGENT: On November 23rd as I edited the text widget on my sidebar in ‘Customize’, my site crashed. My server has restored the website and the content is in the file manager but the website and wordpress dashboard is only showing content up to Dec 30, 2014 instead of content up to November 23, 2015. This leaves a gap of an entire year.

I am using the Florence theme by Solo Pine and my server is BlueHost. I’ve been given the run around for over 5 days and I really just want to have my site back up so I can continue building my brand & generating revenue. HELP!!!

  • So what have you tried for this problem? Have you contact your hosting provider? Also, have you updated your WordPress recently? If yes, then when?
Also can you share your site-url?
    Thanks!

I have been in contact with my Server (BlueHost) since the day that it crashed. After 4 days, they finally understood my dilemmma and found the files in the backup folder with all the correct content. However, they told me to come here to figure out why it’s not showing up.

My WordPress is the latest version 4.3.1. Unfortunately, I don’t know the date since my dashboard is updated but not showing any content from 2015.

    My site URL is https://www.baydiangirl.com/

You can install a fresh WordPress in your local server and import all the database backups including that of 2015 & see if it works properly. I works properly in your local then it will make sure that the WordPress which is installed in your host [bluehost] is not working properly.
    try it.
    Thanks!

Thanks! How do I do that exactly?

How much are you familiar with WordPress? Can you share?

Sure! I’m very familiar with it – just not an experienced html coder. Does that help?
