Hi, I have a website created in wordpress and have installed yoast to aid with SEO. On my homepage I have two columns, in the left is an image. In the right hand column is a text box which contains all my homepage text. Yoast does not report on this for me as it is in a widget. Yoast reports my page as having no text. Is there a way around this, will my widget text not be considered as part of SEO? Do i have to change my page to include the text? Thank you, Nick

Our plugin analyzes the default WordPress content areas. If the analysis does not pick up all of your information, you are likely adding content outside of the default editor. Some plugins and themes, like page builders or visual composers, do not share their content with our analysis feature.

This does not impact Google from seeing the content added in this manner, it’s simply means our plugin does not see it and cannot analyze it.

If you are using a plugin or theme that doesn’t send their content to our page analysis, please reach out the developer and ask them about adding the functionality to their code. This KB article will help them with the implementation: Can I add data to the page analysis?
