sidebar: stop reloading

  • New to wordpress, and its amazing. I have a blog I just started using the freshy theme by jide. Really amateur with html/code/etc and what not so please bear with me.

    I’d like to stop my sidebar from re-loading every time I change pages. I have a mp3 player flash plugin going and it reloads with each click, which makes the first song on the playlist repeat. Is there any way to have links open in the “main” frame only? I’ve been trying to find something along these lines answered in the forum but have had no luck.

    Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

  • You would have to rewrite the theme to include frames. That would be a pain.

    Why not just do a little popup window just for the player? That wouldn’t change on page clicks.
