    Hi Todd,
    I still have the behaviour explained in this thread even with 1.1.0….if I update, the sidebar is empty and all content is inactive. The sidebar is still shown in the widgets menu, but I can’t put anything there.

    Hi @mischamole,
    Sorry to hear this. Could you please let me know you theme and version please?

    Ta, Todd

    Hello the same happens to me.
    If I deactivate the Plugin 1.1.0 the sidebars are seen – activate the Plugin 1.1.0 the sidebars away.

    Hi @mischamole,

    After some investigation it seems that this is actually a conflict with the Picologht theme, and the fact it does not explicitly set an Id for the sidebar that it registers (which it should do as per the WordPress codex. If you turn debug mode on, with that theme activated you will see the following output;

    Notice: register_sidebar was called incorrectly. No id was set in the arguments array for the “Sidebar” sidebar. Defaulting to “sidebar-4”. Manually set the id to “sidebar-4” to silence this notice and keep existing sidebar content. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 4.2.0.) in /srv/www/wp-tmp/htdocs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4138

    I think you can overcome this by creating new Turbo Sidebars, and hopefully these will be usable. Please could you try this and let me know how you get on?

    Hi todd,

    Since the theme I use is already heavily modified, I just added the sidebar ID in the code and now everything works! Thank you very much for your great plugin and your great support!

    Great to hear @mischamole, nice work.

    And thanks for your kind words… and of course it would be foolish of me to not ask for a nice 5* review, in kind.

    Good luck with your site, and feel free to share a link so we can see how you’re using Widgets on Pages.
