I see that this is a common problem having to do with code error, although first I thought I had done it somehow. The thing is, I don’t know html. I can look at the code and sort of see what it says, but basically I’m lost. I just updated to 3.5.1 so perhaps that is the problem. Is there something I can do that does not involve code? Reinstall something? Thanks. https://www.glory-garden.com/blog

  • Looks okay to me on Firefox – what browser are you using?

firefox. So you are seeing the sidebar on the side? I am seeing everything on the bottom.

Yes, on the side on the page you linked to – in twentyeleven theme. Is that what you have? What browser?

My browser is Mozilla Firefox, yes, twentyeleven.

Have you cleared any caches? Also try deactivating all your plugins temporarily to see if any are causing that problem.

    No caches. Will try.

No go. Are you able to look at the code? I was seeing other people with the same problem where it was the code.

I looked at it first thing :). But wait, twentyeleven is designed so that the sidebar drops below the content on smaller screens — is that what you are seeing? How big a screen are you using? Can you look on a full size one? I don’t have the problem so it’s hard to diagnose it, and there are not any obvious code errors.

Well, it is a full sized laptop screen, but I will ask my DH to look on his computer. It’s true I don’t usually use this one.

Well, you are a genius. That is the problem. It’s the horribleness of Vista again. I thank you sincerely.

BTW is this a feature on other themes? Do you have a theme you think I should switch to?

LOL – well glad it wasn’t something else — I was combing through your site some more. It’s really the “newest” thing so that sites work on various devices. You can change to a fixed width one if you’d rather – use the fixed width tag here:
