• I installed the Cutline theme today, and am quite pleased with it, but am having a problem with the sidebar location on the home page. It’s been pushed down to the bottom, rather that the upper right.

    https://marketing.onescrappysite.com/blog <– my site

I emailed the theme creator, and he alerted me that “the index.php file has been edited to include a div called ‘entry-body. This div needs to be removed because it is the source of the problem with your theme (it’s not part of my original code).”

Here’s the weird thing — when I view index.php on the server, or in the Theme Editor when logged in as Admin, there is no “entry-body” div in the index.php file. But when I View Source on the live site, there it is, just like he said. I can’t figure out now how to remove it, since it’s not in the original file (also, like he said), nor did I add it in. How weird is that?

At least now I know what’s causing the problem — now I just need to figure out how to remove it. I don’t “speak” much css or php, but I’m learning. I do “speak” basic HTML.

    Any ideas out there?

    Thanks so much!

  • You also haver another kind of div added:
    <div class="entry-content"> in the post from Aug.16.

Is there any post formatting plugin active?
Are any of the plugins adding anything to your posts?
That’s the only possibility I can think of now…
