Sidebar not working on posts page

    I need the sidebar to show on my designated posts reading page and I’m selecting that option in the customizer, but it’s not working.

    Please advise.

    The workaround I’ve found is to select show sidebar for ALL pages then set all other pages to fullscreen so it doesn’t show and only remains on the Blog page. This will work for me, but may propose a problem for others.
