Sidebar not showing on posts

    Hi,

    The Custom Sidebars are working splendid for me, except from 1 thing. I have created a widget section and under “sidebar location” I have marked “As Blog Sidebar for selected categories” and chosen categories where I want the sidebar to come up as a sidebar in the post. The sidebars shows up here: https://wayosi.no/WP2017/news/ (blog layout) but if you enter the post itself, the sidebars does not show. Any ideas?
    I am using Theme Fusion Avada theme.

  • Thank you for using Custom Sidebars! To get a sidebar to show on the post archive page and the individual posts there are a few things at play.

    Set it to display using both the “For all Single Entries matching selected criteria” and the archive section.

    and

    If it is still not showing, make sure your Avada posts are set to display sidebars. The Avada framework allows you to control if a post has a sidebar. It looks like on this post https://wayosi.no/WP2017/2017/01/01/170101/ there is not see a sidebar. That would be a template issue.

    To show sidebar on pages, edit the sidebar location and add Pages under As Primary Sidebar for selected Post Types option as it is shown at the screenshot bellow:

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply. I already had these settings, so then I guess it’s a theme issue. Have to ask the developers of the theme. Thank you! ??

    Thanks but I do not have the option for As primary Sidebar…

    I have the selected the option AS right side bar and selected pages… still does not work!
