Sidebar not showing in IE

My sidebar is not showing in internet explorer, but it works fine in FF and Chrome.

The posts werent showing either, but i found that it was due to my copying and pasting from word to visual editor. I removed the excess code and now the posts show, but still no sidebar. Any suggestions?

(also if I open a post in IE, the sidebar shows on that page, just not the index page… and error is theme dependent, there is no problem with other themes.)
