Sidebar not showing

    Hello, My theme does not have sidebars so I downloaded this plugin. I tried creating a simple sidebar using the default settings.

    The sidebar option now shows in my appearance-customize-widgets section, and I put in the Monster Insights Most Popular posts widget.

    When I go to a blog post the sidebar isn’t displayed.

    Is there a way I can upload screen shots of my settings to figure out what I’m doing wrong?

    Thank you for reporting this.

    Unfortunately CAS cannot add a sidebar to the left/right on pages where the theme does not have a default sidebar. It will require that the theme’s template is modified, or that you use a page builder plugin such as Elementor to add a sidebar.

    Hi Joachim,

    I am using Elementor’s Hello theme with the sidebar widget. CAS does not work with this setup. I have also used a code snippet to register a sidebar “Main Sidebar” and try to force replace it with another sidebar but it does not seem to work.

    Please help
