Sidebar not displaying per my single criteria

    Hi,

    I have installed the sidebar plugin and done the following:

    In the Sidebar page
    1. Created a new sidebar and set it to active
    2. Set a single condition where Category = X
    3. Set Singulars and Archives to ON (green)
    4. Set action = Replace: Right Sidebar

    In the Widgets page
    1. Added my desired widget to the Sidebar

    When I load any articles that have the designated category, the new sidebar does not display, it is still my original right sidebar.

    If I manually go to a post and change it to the new sidebar, it works.

    So, my issue is the logic to change the sidebar when displaying a post belonging to category X is not working.

    Thank you for reporting this.

    Is the Category condition the only condition you have? Ie. there are no other conditions separated with an AND in the sidebar editor?

    The category condition is the only one, just a single condition.

    The fact that sidebars work by selecting them directly for a post tells me that there might be an incompatibility with another plugin.

    Sometimes conditions behave unexpectedly because something changes WP_Query (The Loop), which makes WordPress (and therefore Content Aware Sidebars) think that the current page is a different one.

    Do you know if you have any custom lists on your site, including widgets?
