I’d like to know if this is default behavior with the Simple Sidebar plugin, but here’s what I’m experiencing.

After adding Simple Sidebars and assigning them to a page, the page displays the sidebar as advertised, but the sidebar is no longer within the <aside> wrapper with all the sidebar class attributes. This makes it very hard to target and control the sidebar, as the widgets in it aren’t contained.

Is this just me, or is this the way the plugin behaves?

I saw that it removed the genesis_do_sidebar() action, and so I’m assuming that’s where the <aside> gets stripped out. But I *REALLY* need that in there.

Disregard. Dummy here forgot about sidebar.php being in the site files and the things I had going on in there. As soon as I removed that, Viola! All is well.
