While setting up a custom home page, I wanted to hide the sidebar. I set the page (static home page) to “no sidebars” and it doesn’t work . I set it to “right sidebar” and it’s still the left sidebar that appears. I know it isn’t a caching problem on my browser because when I edit the page content, it updates. BUT when I update the widgets on the left sidebar (the one that refuses to disappear) it isn’t updating.

So for some reason the left sidebar is frozen where it is even as the rest of the home page updates. I just don’t want sidebars on the home page. What am I doing wrong?
