Sidebar is Broken

  • I’ve been making some minor changes to my theme and it seemed to have broken the layout somehow. I was working with my sidebar.php and page.php but my homepage was broken so I replaced sidebar.php and page.php with the themes original files and it’s still broken. Anyone have any insight as to why my homepage doesn’t display properly? https://www.bakkentribune.com (the right side is messed up)

    I don’t find anything like that or any sidebar. Can you re-upload a fresh unedited copy of your theme and see what happens? Or, better, revert to Twenty Eleven theme and see if you face any problems?

    If you scroll all the way down on the homepage you’ll see where my sidebar starts on the right side…

    The slider on the right side should also be aligned with the top, for some reason it is moved down also

    Replace the theme with an unedited copy of it. It should solve the problem.

    BTW, from where did you download the theme? If it is not from www.remarpro.com, you need to contact the theme’s vendor.

    I replaced the theme and that did the trick, thankfully I only made a few changes to the .css; Time to learn how to do a child theme :)!
