    Hello,
    today I found out an image in the sidebar of my blog suddenly got too big and is now positioned half in and half out the sidebar. I can’t see why is that or how to fix since I haven’t changed anything in my settings; also if I try to change the dimensions of the image, nothing happens, it stays big.

    Can anyone help?

    Are you able to provide a link to the site? Have you tried deactivating all plugins to see if that resolves the issue?

    thanks for replying – here’s a link to my site:

    the image I have issue with is the one on the right called ‘l’autrice’, which exceeds the limits of the sidebar.

    I haven’t deactivated any plug-ins yet; i don’t use that many and I would have no idea which ones to deactivate!

    Oh that is a little odd.

    Have you tried reaching out to the theme’s author about this? From the quick look I took, I can see there is some additional markup around that which forces the image to be a set size.

    hmmm… haven’t tried as I would need to pay a fee to get online support :/

    The odd thing is that I didn’t change anything: I woke up toaday and it was like that, while until the yestarday it was fine!

    Sad panda. From the looks of it, it does look like the image is back to normal and the markup was removed. The other day there was extra figure HTML markup around the image, now there isn’t.

    Yep, I found out the problem was the caption – without it, the image went back to the normal size. So I separated the two in two different widgets (image + text).
    Weird though!
