• I’ve read through simlar post on this issue. My site is at https://www.bolttalk.com and it looks fine in al other browsers but IE. My sidebar is shifted down for some reason. Now I have posted tons of articles but none of them have any graphics. Normally I will just cut and paste from the source. I am sure that at one time it was working fine in IE. But something happend recently. I’ve deleted the most recent posts and reposted them. I have also tried removing stuff one by one on my sidebar and still the problem exists.

Is there a way to identify the problem post? Is there a fix to this problem? Please help and thanks in advance.

  • In IE, I am getting a javascript error and it’s not loading the css. Dunno if that’s part of it, but that’s what I’m seeing.

I figured it out. Shout box was casuing the problem with the shifted sidebar. The Javascript error you get in IE is caused by “democracy” a poll add in. I need to figure out how to resize the dialog box in Shoutbox to see if it fixes the problem in IE. IE sucks!!

I had the same problem with my site, IE sucks. I tracked it down to a form, it was set in a table that had a width parameter that was too big for the sidebar, changed it to width=”100%” and that fixed it.

    hallo,

i have the same problem (sidebar does not appear on IE or only all the way down + some images are bigger that they should be) on IE. Yes IE sucks but half of the people who are visiting my blog are using it…

Glytch, can you tell more on how you fixed this ?
    thanks.
