• Hi guys,

My blog has been working fine for a while now, but the other day I tried to update my sidebar and it wouldn’t. I can edit fine within the admin dashboard, however it does not update on the homepage.

I know it is a theme error because when I use a different theme, it works fine. And I know that all my plugins work with the current theme because they have done in the past. It is most likely an error in the code somewhere. If I actually delete the sidebar.php file, the sidebar still shows up (in it’s frozen state) on the index.

I have read through previous threads and tried deactivating all the plugins, but this hasn’t worked.

    Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

I have solved it by completely re-installing the theme which isn’t what I wanted to do, but it’s a long term fix.
