Can you please post a screenshot of :

1. Without the widget
2. With the widget but without the “Exclude display of related posts” option

If I understand correctly, you’ve put the page ID of the /about-tcc/ page in the Contextual related posts options but the sidebar remains?

I’ve placed the page ID in the “Exclude display of related posts” under Exclusion settings under Output options.

Yes, the sidebar remains.

This is because by default the widget remains but doesn’t display any output and your theme seems to be designed to be dynamic to retain the sidebar if there is a widget or display no sidebar if there isn’t any widget.
