• I have a static homepage on my website and have set it up to view all my posts on a separate category page. My static pages do not have a sidebar. The only part of my website that I want to have a sidebar are my blog posts and the category page where they are found so that viewers can easily navigate posts. I know how to get the sidebar to show up on the posts, but not on the category page that displays all posts. Is that possible?

    Thanks!

  • So in the settings > reading. Make sure you have left the “post page” select box empty.

Then create your blog page with the blog template. In the page settings you can choose to not have a sidebar.

With the free theme there isn’t an option to set the sidebar setting for categories. It’s on by default. If you use a child theme you can run a function to turn the sidebar off or use the premium theme.

    Kadence Themes.
