• Hi…

I’m certainly no expert when it comes to editing css code, but I do like to have a bash, so to speak, just to customize things sufficiently to make my site a little original…

Anyhow, I’ve been trying to ‘customize’ a really nice theme I found for a few days now and I’m having real problems altering the table widths (I’m basically trying to make the sidebar a little wider). I’m using Firefox and the Theme-test-drive plugin to preview the editing and no matter how many times I alter the width settings for ‘.main_left’ or ‘.main_table’ etc… the sidebar/tables stay exactly the same!!! But when I switch to Internet Explorer the alterations are there???

I’ve pasted the Style.css file below if it helps… As I said before, I’m no expert, but I’m guessing there’s something in there that’s not very Firefox friendly???

    Please help ??

Oh ok… Well I guess if I’m not allowed to post the code then it’s going to be pretty hard for anyone to help!!!

    cheers guys…

No it is not hard at all…
Just give a valid URL to your blog and all the helpers can see and edit your stylesheet on the fly because almost all of them have the Dev Toolbar or some similar tool in their browser.
Although it will be difficult to find somebody that can help with tables ??

The theme I’m editing isn’t the theme I’m using… I’m trying to get another theme fully edited before hitting the switch button.
