Sidebar doesn’t show on search results page

    Although “Right Sidebar” is the default template, the Better Search results page doesn’t show the sidebar but instead displays full width.

    Thanks in advance for the awesome plugin.

    Have you tried with the Seamless mode on?

    Yes, and it works fine (the sidebar shows). However I’d really rather not use Seamless mode. When I look at the template file (better-search-template.php) I see a call for get_sidebar(); but no sidebar?

    That’s a sample file. The best option is to create your own better-search-template.php in your theme’s directory and the plugin will use that. You should base this on the file you noted above and more importantly the search.php of your own theme
