• I am using the suffusion theme which has always worked well for me in the past. For some reason on some of my pages my widget area on the right is not displaying. On others it does.

Suffusion offers several templates which should control this but all the pages are set the same. I am only displaying one widget within the widget area “nice navigation (plugin)”. I don’t know that that would have anything to do with it.

The site I am having an issue with is https://www.allachporcelain.com/wp

    any thoughts?
    Thanks

  • Specifically which page(s) are you seeing an issue with?

I guess you are the right person to ask on this one:) Thanks for the response. Just as a test I removed all widgets so that it would display the automaticly default widgets. Here are the pages that are having the problems.

    Figurines
    Candle Holders
    Plates
    Plaques
    Specialty Items
    Animals
    Vases
    Jesters
    Jugglers
    For Sale
    Contact Us

Those pages are all having the problem. I tried opening the pages in different browsers incase it was a cache or browser issue but I got the same problem. Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Kris

This may have something to do with your reCAPTCHA plugin, which is not configured properly. Maybe it is causing an error. Either disable the plugin or fix its configuration. See if things work, then.

That did it, I cant thank you enough. I dont know how those would be related but they sure were.

While we’re talking I did have one other theme related question. I use your theme on just about every site I have. On some of them I would like to reverse the nav button colors so that they are colored when not moused over and white when they are moused over. Is there any way to do this or just edit the button colors in general?

Thanks for the GREAT Theme. Oh and thanks for the ad hoc widgets, that was the only thing I thought it was missing…until now!

Version 3.6.6 lets you skin the navigation bars.

I upgraded to 3.6.6 and have been messing with the top nav bar settings. I have not spent a lot of time on it yet but it seems kind of finicky so far. Basically I would like the nav bar itself to be transparent but once I mouse over the title I would like it to pop up as usual. When I set it to transparent it goes white instead of the color of the page background…which I assume transparent would be.

I have another kind of dumb question. Is there a way to change the default widget layout. I have something like 300 pages and need to switch the sidebar from the right to the left. Is there any way to do this without touching each page?

Thanks for adding the nav bar skinning option and the ad hoc widgets. With these options (assuming I can figure out the nav bar skinning=) there is nothing I know of that this theme is missing. It is by far the best I have ever used!

I just found another small problem. I manually changed the sidebar to the left on one of the pages just to see how it looks. When I did the overall page dimension shrunk to about the size of what is usually the content area. The sidebar is there but everything is squished. Any ideas?

I left this page so you can see what I am talking about.

I have had this happen on another site before when going from no sidebars to a single sidebar on the right. Maybe I can kill 2 birds with one stone here.
