I have learnpress on a multisite installation, and up until recently, the installation of one subsite using the fluida theme had the course sidebar showing all the lessons and quizes. I just switched another subsite to that theme because it was working on the previous subsite, and discovered the sidebar initially displaying, then flashing away. I went to the site I’d built last year, forgetting which theme it was using but remembering it did have the sidebar just fine, and it didn’t display this morning either. I checked on the theme to remind myself it too is using the fluida theme.

On the previous site, having that sidebar is a pain, I want to be able to control what students see and I don’t want them skipping ahead in the course. So the fact it is now disappearing isn’t entirely a bad thing on that subsite.

On the new subsite, I want to be sure LP is working. I had to change the theme because of other issues that are now resolved by switching to the fluida theme. But it would be nice if course creators had the ability to decide if they want the sidebar and if they want it, how they want it displaying: the whole thing, in sections, or not at all.

But I’m seeing others complaining in the last few days about the sidebar.

I don’t buy themes. Since the last update, which free themes are working fine with LearnPress, WooCommerce, BuddyPress and Paid Memberships Pro?

Found it! the sidebar is now automatically hidden, hit the two arrows in the top right to reveal it again. My chosen theme works fine after all.
