sidebar creation

  • Basically I have a 1 column theme, I need to create another colum beside the one I have….can anyone help? I had my coder help me out but he quit and now I have to do things myself for now, I have php experience but on this topic, not too much.

    Basically I need a second sidebar for widgets (beside sidebar 1)

    + = current sidebar
    | = new one I need.

  • Well, you don’t really “create” sidebars. You re-design your theme to have one more. No PHP required just solid XHTML and CSS.
