• I’m working on https://www.accessgallery.org, which is a non-profits arts organization for kids with disabilities.

When we try adding additional information to the primary sidebar it disappears. It already has two graphics in there. I’m able to add up to about 50 character and it displays fine. If I add more than that it disappears.

I’ve been using the Text widget and also Black Studio TinyMCE and the same thing happens with both. When I add a calendar display widget it works fine.

I’ve trying turning off all the plugins and using a different theme but the same problem comes up. I’ve also increased the memory in the wp-config file and the same thing happens.

Does anyone know know why something like this happens and what I can do to fix it? Thanks so much.

  • Does the sidebar actually disappear, or does it just drop to the bottom of the screen? If it is dropping to the bottom of the screen, then chances are the extra characters are causing the widget width to increase beyond the allowed space.

Can you post a link to the site where the problem can be seen?

It doesn’t drop to the bottom of the page. It just disappears.

This is in the Primary Sidebar at https://www.accessgallery.org.

It have two graphics in there already. When i start adding text, it is fine. Once I get to a certain amount of characters, that’s when it disappears. The sidebar was working fine up until about a week ago when it start misbehaving. I hadn’t done any updates. And i don’t think it’s a memory thing because I increased the memory.

Have you ever seen something like this?

Sorry, I have not seen that problem.
