sidebar at bottom of screne and background blank

    i’m not sure what went wrong with my site:

    does anyone have any ideas? the only thing that i’ve been fooling around with is the sidebar. i’ve even tried uploading the wp sidebar file again but it wtill won’t go back to normal.

    all help appreciated!

  • It looks OK in Firefox, so it is probably only in IE.
    Try a search for “sidebar down, sidebar bottom, sidebar sinking…etc.” and you will find hunbdreds of posts about it – and how to fix it.
    Usually it is caused by something too wide either in the content or the sidebar area. The “something” can be
    – a wide pic
    – a long link
    – a long (even invisible) code line etc.

    more than likely it’s the photos in your posts… they’re probably just 10-15 px too wide.

    if that’s not it – i just noticed your page names and category names are REALLLLLLY long… that might be it as well.

    hm… I tried deleting photos and shortening category names etc… nothing. when i look in IE it’s fine but in Firefox it’s giving me trouble. that’s the opposite of the norm.,

    Edit: the problem was some invisible html code in my last post. I fixed it and it’s all fine. thanks!
