I don’t know what I got myself into, but now my sidebar and widgets all appear on the bottom of my blog. Can anyone please help? All I was trying to do was increase the font sizes on my blog and next thing I know it looks all weird. Of course one thing leads to another and I just wish I hadn’t even touched a single line of code. Can anyone PLEASE please help? It would be greatly appreciated.

Looks fine to me. If it’s no longer a problem can you mark the thread as resolved so that others don’t waste their time trying to help you.

You got my hopes up MoghillPat! Sorry but it doesn’t look like it’s still working. I wish I could take a screen capture, but if you go on the page, the whole right side should have an ad, some social media images, links, etc. Instead, if you scroll all the way down, they’re on the bottom instead. I tried checking in a different browser so I don’t think it’s because my current one is remembering it.

Any thoughts? Are you seeing a big white space on the right still?

Thank you for chiming in MoghillPat!

your site has validation errors: https://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fsleepingshouldbeeasy.com%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

of which the three ‘end tag for “div” omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified‘ near the end of the list are severe and possibly the cause of your sidebar problem.

those errors could be within the templates of your theme, from plugins, or from the content of posts, pages, or widgets…

Thanks for all your input although as a super non-coder, I would have no idea how to fix this. But I think I was able to “solve” this issue. I went through several things but the one that seemed to bring the sidebar up was to go through all my plugins, deactivate, check the site, then reactivate if it didn’t seem to have an effect. Well, one of the plugins, Chitika, was deactivated and lo and behold, the sidebar went back up. I’m sure I still have a ton of errors if I validate, and who knows why this plugin is even causing it as I hadn’t touched it in forever (I got into this mess to begin with by trying to fiddle with the font size of my copy), but since again I have no idea what I’m doing coding-wise, I am leaving it as is.

Thanks again for your input. Closing this out now.
