I wont click back again until you provide a little more info — forex is a word thats spammy.

    Hi Whooami,

I provide high quality content to those who need it because of the spamminess that cost people a lot of money (garbage)…

I am using a computer in a library right now. The version is 6.0.29 Internet Explorer.

If its working on yours, its probably working on my home PC and others too.

I had this problem before after I edited the sidebar.php of my theme but fixed it through removing the <div> tags in a post.

Take a closer look at it – does it fit into the width of your content area?
No, it doesn’t. (A quick search for “sidebar down/bottom IE” – would have brought up hundreds of similar blogs…)

Thanks, hard to know phrase to search for for me.

I had resized the picture shortly after posting and it wasn’t there when I first posted this issue.

I am at home now and blog is coming up fine, so presumably it was IE version number problem rather than coding…

There can be many reasons why sidebars end up at the bottom of a site. On my site I found the stats counter was the culprit. We’ve also found posts that creeped into the sidebars distorting things – and then validation is important, the smallest things can screw everything up.

Make sure you dissect your sidebar and put things back one at a time, you can find wayward code that way as well.

By the way, after spending hours reading the docs and support posts here – what a bunch of angst-ridden moderators troll this place. Insults, backhanded advice, petty condescension and flippant comments are the norm. If you guys are unhappy, do us all a favor – shut the computer off and drink yourself to sleep. I must have read 50 posts where Moshu or Whooami just tee off on people – WTF? When I started using WordPress I made some stupid mistakes, but it was no fun coming in here to learn from them – too much insecurity here. People who get their thrills cutting down newbies are a sorry bunch…

That’s uncalled for. Try spending days/week/months/years answering questions instead of a few months reading. Sidebar layout is a common problem (as is IE funkiness). How many of them should one person fix?

If you insist on support your way, bring your money.

If you think this forum is unfriendly, you haven’t seen enough problem solving forums.
