• Hi

This is a brilliant theme and thank you for creating it. I need some advice however. Please could you tell me how I add a sidebar into the theme? Also when it says a variety of styles, how do I access them please?

    Thanks

    Hi @cregy,

I’m glad you like it! You can add a sidebar by adding a Columns block to the templates, with the current content of the template in the larger column and whatever you want in the sidebar in the thinner column. It’s a pretty advanced operation if you’re not used to the Site Editor, though.

You can choose between the different style variations in Abisko by going to Admin → Appearance → Editor, click the editor preview to the right, then the “Styles” tab in the top right of the right sidebar, and then “Browse styles”. From there, you can select which one of the included style variations you want to use.

@anlino thanks for the reply. I want to reset all styles so I get back to the original. Is that possible please? I am gradually understanding how block themes work and I should have realised that columns was the way forward.

    Thanks

Just to further explain the reset part. Currently the home page displays recent posts but the menu it displays is different to the rest of the site and I cannot find where it is derived from. Visit other elements and it displays a different menu which is currently being created.

    Any ideas please?
